People and Projects
Many people in Northeast Ohio are invovled with Open Source projects. This page will provide a list and give people bragging rights.
I run two free services that use Open Source software, Uptime and MyTurl.
Uptime - Uptime allows people to monitor their websites to see if they are still up and running. People can then be notified if their sites goes down and when it comes back up.
MyTurl - MyTurl is a TinyUrl clone that always people to post long urls and get a nice short little alias back. Makes it easy to pass along long urls via email, instant messaging, and such.
GMUVE - GMUVE is a project that I have been working on that allows users to interact in 3D environments. It is being written in Python and Java and uses OpenGL.
MyTechmaster Moodle Modules - MTM moodle Modules is a project that contains a number of useful add on modules for the Moodle Course management system. These modules were written under contract with Innovative Educational Technologies and released under the GPL. They include a flashcard modules, a matching module, an evaluation module and an add on to the assignment module that Moodle comes with.
